We have two self catering apartments available to rent in beautiful stone buildings with panoramic views. Both apartments are accessed from an interior courtyard, each having its own private balcony overlooking the village and hills beyond. A swimming pool is situated on a lower terrasse of our garden, available to both apartments. From the house another garden leads directly into miles of peaceful chestnut and pine forest.

Our house is nestled in a hamlet called Les Monedes in the village of St. Paul le Jeune. Situated between the two market towns of St. Ambroix and Les Vans, St. Paul le Jeune is at the very southern most point of the Ardeche, on the edge of the Cevennes and Languedoc Roussillon regions. The famous Ardeche Gorge and the spectacular Pont d'Arc are 20 minutes drive away offering canoeing, kayaking & river swimming. The historical towns of Nimes, Arles & Avignon are all within easy reach. Close by is the Pont du Gard. The Mediterranean sea is just two hours drive south.

The countryside is ideal for outdoor activities such as walking, cycling & swimming. The village lies on the border of two very different geological regions: one boasting fascinating limestone outcrops, natural potholes & cave systems to visit; the other offering miles of hilly forest & beautiful river valleys. For those interested in sketching or painting there are numerous sites within walking distance of the house to inspire you.

Our premises can also be hired for groups, business conventions, company courses & private clubs who require board, lodging & a peaceful environment. In the near future we will have a studio/lecture room situated beside the pool which will provide a space for groups to paint or write, to hold lectures & presentations or to study & discuss.
